Hello! My name is Ian Simmons, I'm the artist behind Watery Day. I'm based in Portland, Oregon where I live with my two cats. I draw and design everything you see in this store, and sometimes I even make it with my own hands! I've been selling my artwork and merchandise since 2016 and I really love it. Making a living as an artist is hard, so I feel very fortunate and grateful for every order placed and every product sold.
You may catch me at an anime or comic convention from time to time, or a local market around Oregon or Washington. If you see me please don't be shy, come up and say hello! I love meeting folks and chatting about art or any of the fandoms and stuff I like to draw.
I draw a queer medieval fantasy comic called Unicorn, Hunted about a man who kills a unicorn by mistake, and is cursed to have unicorn traits of his own. For now it is self published, and you can find physical copies on this shop, or digital copies on my itchio page. The first chapter is free to read digitally; I hope you check it out and enjoy it!
